Follow Us on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/donaldson/ Key Accountabilities: Lead, collaborate, or support global modeling/simulation projects with team members in NA, EMEA, and APAC. Develop, transfer and apply modeling methodology and tools to research, technology and product development business customers. Adopt and utilize Donaldson processes to drive project execution on time, on budget and meeting/exceeding expectations. Champion as Subject Matter Expert in identified modeling technology area, including structural analysis (FEM), material characterization. anmulti-physics simulation. Respond to enterprise-wide modeling and simulation needs and offer consulting service, perform analysis during the different phases of the projects and support global product development engineering with design optimizations and sensitivity analysis. Drive improvements in associated modeling techniques to increase simulation accuracy and engineering know-how. Being innovative to come up with creative ideas and concepts in expansion of modeling & simulation role in different business verticals of Donaldson. Work independently and take logical and orderly approach to analyze the modeling & simulation issues/concerns, defining actions and executing the same to deliver results. Education Qualification: Masters or PhD Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Materials and related fields. Technical Competence & Skills: In depth understanding of FEA (Numerical/computational method) applied on virtual engineering & model development for filtration, life science etc. applications. Knowledge in fundamentals of Solid mechanics is essential. Hands-on experience on any commercial simulation tool (ANSYS, COMSOL, other structural CAE tools) Ability to write simple code/macros (Python, Java, Matlab etc.) to customize & automate the tool. Ability to write high quality simulation report containing problem analysis along with countermeasure suggestions. Leadership Competence: Collaboration skills- drives collaborations with global teams & stakeholders while working on projects; and develops trusted long-term professional relationships. Strong communication skills- ability to lead the technical discussions, both verbal and written, with global counterparts and leadership teams. Problem Solving skills- ability to set Ideal & current situations, perform root cause analysis, identify effective countermeasure ideas along with action plan to achieve milestones. Learning Agility- willing to continuously learn new technologies, products, tools & applications. Self-motivated- proactive in identifying the risks in projects and taking lead in solving the same quickly. Relevant Experience: 2-6 years of relevant work experience primarily focused on performing virtual engineering & validation activities to add value in product design, evaluation of new concepts & technologies. Proven work experience on developing new simulation processes, correlation& validation, documentation and best practices and standardization activities Knowledge on Structural analysis through FEA techniques is desired. Knowledge of CFD/multi-phase/multi physics modeling & simulation is added advantage. Others (% of travel, language, etc.): 10% travel Proficient in English (both written and verbal) with global team members. Able to work flexible hours. Come make a World of Difference!
