About the role As an AEM Developer you will be joining a technical team implementing AEM solutions for Navitas. The role will develop AEM components and functionality that adhere to Adobe's best practices and requires a developer who is technically proficient in HTML and Java, writing clean code and unit tests. You understand the inner workings of AEM and can use the out of the box features to their advantage when delivering on requirements. Key Responsibilities Build websites and applications using Adobe AEM Design and build components, templates and content fragments using the Adobe AEM architecture (Sling, CRX, OSGI, OAK) Diagnose and solve technical. problems related to content management such as search result accuracy, dynamic content linking, formatting, image scaling, internationalisation, and penalisation. Work in an agile, rapid development and prototyping environment. Translate business requirements into Adobe AEM specific implementation specifications. Design and improve internal development methodologies. Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience At least 3 years+ of recent, hands-on AEM 6.x development experience. Adobe certification (AEM Developer, AEM Architect, AEM DevOps) preferred. Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 Must have used Java to customize AEM. Solid experience with OSGI, Sling, HTL, Unit Testing Comfortable with data exchange protocols like JSON and XML Good knowledge of SQL/PLSQL.
