Job Description
The Specialist - Information Security is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and enhancing the organization's security posture. The role involves risk assessment, incident response, security operations, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
How your day will look like/Job responsibility
- Perform security assessments, vulnerability management, and risk analysis.
- Lead incident response investigations and forensic analysis.
- Implement and manage security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, WAF,
- CNAP, DLP, email security and firewalls.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and logs for potential threats.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees.
- Collaborate with IT and other teams to enhance security controls.
- Experienced in VAPT, Internal Audit, Red Teaming and security assessments
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (ISO 27001, SOC2, NIST, PCI/DSS GDPR,
- etc.).
- Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior security analysts.
Education Work Experience
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in information security or cybersecurity roles.
Knowledge
- Proficiency with security tools (SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, DLP, etc.).
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are a plus.
- Proficiency in developing and enforcing security policies, procedures, and best practices.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of network security, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management.
- In-depth understanding of security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, WAF,
- CNAP, DLP, email security, and firewalls.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and industry standards such as ISO 27001, SOC2, NIST, PCI/DSS, and GDPR.
- Expertise in conducting Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT), Internal Audits, Red Teaming, and security assessments.
- Ability to lead incident response investigations and conduct forensic analysis.
- Expertise in analyzing security alerts, logs, and identifying potential threats.
- Ability to develop and conduct security awareness programs for employees.

- Experience in guiding and mentoring junior security analysts.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with IT and other
- departments.
- Capability to conduct thorough risk analysis and vulnerability management to protect the
- organizations assets.

- Adaptability to respond quickly to security incidents and ensure business continuity.
- Ability to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
