Job Description
The Analyst - Information Security will assist in monitoring, analyzing, and improving the security infrastructure. This role is ideal for candidates looking to develop a strong foundation in cybersecurity while contributing to the organization's security efforts.
How your day-to-day responsibilities will look like:
- Monitor security alerts and assist in incident response activities.
- Perform routine security checks, log analysis, and vulnerability scans.
- Assist in managing security tools such as antivirus, firewalls, and SIEM.
- Help enforce security policies and best practices.
- Support security awareness training initiatives.
- Research emerging threats and provide recommendations for security improvements.
- Work closely with IT teams to enhance security configurations.
- Maintain documentation and reports related to security incidents and audits.
Education Work Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in information security or IT security.
KnowledgeRequired:
- Basic knowledge of security tools and technologies (firewalls, SIEM, antivirus, etc.).
- Understanding of security concepts such as malware analysis, phishing, and network security.
Skills
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Attitude
- Security certifications like CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent are a plus.
