Senior Java Developer @ Gadgeon Smart Systems

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture, with hands-on experience in PostgreSQL, Kafka, and Kubernetes. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications, ensuring system scalability, reliability, and observability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement scalable backend solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.
• Develop KPI-driven and observability-focused applications with strong logging and monitoring practices.
• Optimize database queries and manage PostgreSQL efficiently.
• Implement event-driven architecture using Kafka for messaging.
• Deploy and manage microservices using Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop secure and scalable RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Ensure best practices for system security, performance, and maintainability.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support production systems and ensure system uptime.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, with a strong focus on query optimization.
• Experience with Kafka for messaging and event-driven applications.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes for container orchestration and microservices deployment.
• Experience in designing and developing microservices-based architectures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of Remote SIM Provisioning (RSP) and eSIM technologies.
• Familiarity with AWS and DevOps practices.
