Job Description
Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with a strong background in Java and Selenium to join our quality engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, developing, and implementing automated testing frameworks, ensuring the highest software quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java and Selenium.
- Create and execute automated test scripts to validate application functionality and performance.
- Work closely with developers and QA engineers to identify and resolve defects.
- Perform API testing using tools like REST Assured, Postman, or equivalent.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Develop strategies for test automation, scalability, and reusability.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on software quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive best practices in testing and automation.
- Continuously enhance automation frameworks to improve test effectiveness and coverage.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Java programming.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
- Experience in test automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).
- Knowledge of API testing and automation tools (REST Assured, Postman).
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Ability to write efficient test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
