Job Description

Primary Responsibilities: Install, configure, and manage Linux servers Develop and maintain automated scripts and tools for system deployment and monitoring Set up and maintain a robust Linux-based network infrastructure, including routers, firewalls, Load balancers and VPNs. Design and implement effective backup and disaster recovery solutions to safeguard critical data Identify areas for infrastructure enhancement and propose and implement innovative solutions Collaborate with vendors to evaluate and procure hardware and software for Linux infrastructure upgrades and expansions Plan and execute strategies to scale Linux infrastructure, proactively anticipating and meeting business growth demands Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides Qualification Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related fields. 3 to 5 years of proven experience as an IT Infrastructure. Engineer, with a strong focus on Linux systems. In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems, administration, and command-line tools. Familiarity with VMware virtualization technologies containerization including Docker and Kubernetes. Proficiency in anyone scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Perl, with a keen eye for automation opportunities. Experience in Ansible and IaaC tools Strong understanding of networking protocols, services, and security best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide timely solutions. Working knowledge in any of public cloud platform Certifications such as Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC), Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), or similar credentials are a plus
