In a global Operations Director role, would be responsible for leading and harmonizing operational strategies across multiple regions for different functions i.e. Treasury Operations( settlements and reconciliation), Product Operations, Consumer Outcomes Testing, Complaints RCA and Procedure Management. This involves developing and executing global operational plans, ensuring consistency in processes, and optimizing efficiency on an international scale. Collaboration with diverse teams, cultural understanding, and adaptation to regional nuances are essential. Managing budgets, overseeing process controls, and implementing global standards for quality and compliance are key components of this role. Strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate complexities in a global context are crucial. Business Operations(Service Delivery Director) is responsible for leading multi-faceted operations functions globally, the role will involve to run and build digital. products and services across the globe in a start-up atmosphere. Role will be based on Bengaluru, India as we embark on this exciting chapter in the continued growth of our business. You will also be responsible as a Senior Management for the location, drive and manage site specific initiatives and location events for International Consumer Banking in Bengaluru, India Culture is important to us and we are looking for intellectually curious, honest, passionate, and hungry individuals who are motivated to use and expand their skills, while working on a new and exciting venture. Roles And Responsibilities : We are seeking an experienced Lead to run International Consumer Banking Operations. It is expected that this role will involve Define, implement and maintain operational excellence across the service delivery areas like Treasury operations ( Cash & Card Reconciliations), Product Operations, Complaints Root Cause Analysis and Outcome Testing Building and Leading a high performing business operations function, delivering exceptional service experience to the operations teams Have the ability to operate effectively in a virtual team working environment using empowerment to create a right first time culture for colleagues and customers Acting as subject matter expert for best in class digital business policy, processes, products and solutions Champion colleague culture, lead by example and provide feedback and recognition at every opportunity Maintaining cross product operational standards and consistency One of the tasks is to represent the interests of the business area at a higher level Collaborating with product, customer service and process engineering teams to design best in class service delivery while mitigating risks Involve in new project initiatives aligned with strategic goals Extensive stakeholder management working with global teams to ensure we deliver exceptional service at all times Understand and keep the business aligned with regulatory requirements Manage the workforce requirements / headcounts and meet the on-going demand Work collaboratively with the relevant teams to continuously improve operational and business performance to optimize both the customer and employee experience As a location Senior Management role, you will Foster the BeDynamo culture, and promote diversity, equity and inclusion Drive spirit of community, through local events, site wide communications and responding to employee listening data Provide partnership and insight to the ICB Leadership team and act as a local point of contact as needed Drive any spanning, technology requirements and hybrid working Foster positive relationships across the LOBs and represent ICB across the location Engage with Location Leadership and support location specific initiatives Nurture the talent pipeline through driving a combination of programs including early career programs, lateral hiring, internal mobility Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills : Over 7 years+ relevant expertise at a senior level in Financial Services banking or any other heavily regulated financial services industry Experience working in a high growth company, start-up environment, adaptable, agile and able to work in a constantly evolving business Leadership experience handling large teams and processes Digitally savvy across different medians Have a highly successful track record of what it takes to build and maintain a strong operational culture as a force driving people, customer & business success Have excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to share our vision and goals Experience of directly leading an Service Delivery operations function with a best place to work culture Enjoys working in environment with high ambiguity Be an advocate of our brand and lead & act as a role model to all colleagues and peers Strong knowledge of banking regulations, policies, procedures and products Ability to establish and maintain a culture of risk management and compliance while delivering a world class customer experience Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills : Preferred experience within digital retail bank SME or thorough experience within reconciliations or consumer duty or product operations Handled multi-functional back end operations teams and broad organization
