Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our growing data team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building and maintaining scalable data pipelines using AWS, Airflow, DBT, and Databricks. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data workflows that enable actionable insights and analytics across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain reliable, scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Develop and orchestrate workflows using Apache Airflow.
- Model and transform data using DBT for analytics and reporting purposes.
- Leverage AWS services (e.g., S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Athena) for data engineering tasks.
- Work with Databricks to process and analyze large-scale data sets.
- Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across pipelines.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues and implement optimizations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a data engineering or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with:
- AWS cloud services for data engineering
- Apache Airflow for orchestration
- DBT for data modeling and transformation
- Databricks and Spark for large-scale data processing
- Experience with version control tools like Git and CI/CD practices.
- Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and tools (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
