We are in the process of expanding our furniture store and are in search of a dynamic and seasoned Operations Manager to take charge and supervise the varied activities associated with this expansion. Job Overview: As an Operations Manager for our furniture wing, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of various business operations, from managing accounts and vendor communication to procurement and sourcing. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of e-commerce operations, excellent organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities: Accounts Management: Oversee financial transactions and maintain accurate records. Manage budgets, expenses, and financial reporting. 2. Vendor Communication: Establish and maintain effective communication with vendors and suppliers. Negotiate terms and conditions to ensure favorable agreements. 3.Procurement and Sourcing: Coordinate the procurement process, ensuring timely. and cost-effective sourcing of products. Identify reliable suppliers and build strong relationships with them. 4.Logistics and Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and coordinate logistics for timely product delivery. Implement efficient inventory control measures. 5.Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities. Provide insights for product selection and strategic decision-making. Qualifications: Proven experience in a similar operations management role, preferably in e-commerce or retail. Strong financial acumen and experience in managing accounts. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficient in procurement and sourcing strategies. Knowledge of furniture and interior design trends is a plus. Masters degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
