As an Associate Video Engineer, you will be responsible for support of Transunions Global Video Conferencing and A/V equipment. You will provide technical leadership for Video Conferencing, meeting requiring A/V equipment. Assist in defining, maintaining, communicating, and implementing standards consistent with established architecture and strategy. We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Associate Level Enterprise Video Engineer to join our growing team! This role will play a key part in supporting our organization's video infrastructure and delivering high-quality video experiences. for internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with other engineers, IT professionals, and stakeholders to troubleshoot, maintain, and improve our video systems. What You'll Bring: Provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders regarding video systems. Also support associate town hall meetings with Team and Zoom. Ensure seamless audio/visual support for executive meetings involving presentation, video conferencing and remote attendees. Offer ongoing technical support for video endpoints and underlying infrastructure. Including troubleshooting and resolving issues ensuring optimal performance and user experience. Proactively monitor and maintain video endpoints and infrastructure, minimizing downtown and ensuring smooth operation. Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of enterprise video equipment, including codex, streaming servers, miscellaneous a/v devices and video conferencing solutions. Assist in routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates, system backups, and data archiving. Assist with the development and implementation of new video technologies and workflows. Collaborate with Lead engineers and vendors to design and implement video solutions that meet the needs of the organization. Document video system configurations and procedures. Establishes and maintains strong collaborative relationships with internal and external strategic partners as well as critical IT infrastructure service providers. With administrative direction, leads the evaluation and selection of tools. Primary owner of the Video infrastructure and the A/V infrastructure Including AV tech in high profile rooms, auditorium, boardroom, and immersive telepresence room, and training room. Participate in and/or lead projects of low to medium complexity. Assist on-call production support activities, using the technical knowledge and capability to handle all problems that may arise. Assist with putting procedures in place to prevent and reduce the severity of outages. Assist the installation and testing of upgrades. Assist with updates of Video management systems, including asset management, time tracking and other systems. Available to be on call 24/7 on a team rotating schedule once assimilated into the team. Stay up-to-date on the latest video technologies and best practices. Qualifications 1+ years of experience in overseeing large meetings with A/V needs using video conferencing platforms - Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WebEx, BlueJeans, GoToMeeting and other video conferencing tools. 1+ years of experience troubleshooting video endpoints in enterprise IP networks. Knowledge of configuring Zoom, WebEx, Teams, GoToMeeting, Skypeetc. in an enterprise environment. Familiarity managing and configuring Poly Infrastructure, (VMRs, DMA, RMX WFS). Experience with Polycom/Cisco systems support, and monitoring. Experience managing and configuring Poly endpoints, (phones, video codec, Group series, G75, X-studio) Familiarity with Poly RealPresent platform and admin tools Experience with control systems preferably Crestron Understanding of unified communications including RealPresence, unified messaging, web-conferencing, and Video Conferencing preferred. Excellent written and verbal communications skills; able to communicate effectively with associates at all levels. Must be able to prioritize and manage time effectively as well as function with no supervision, under tight deadlines, and demonstrate initiative in problem solving.
