We are Hiring Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Manager for Talent Development, with a focus on graduate engagement to join our team and play a key role in fostering the success of our newest actuarial recruits. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive graduate engagement program, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience, maximizing utilization, and driving their development through goal setting, training, and mentoring programs. With your dedication and expertise, you will contribute significantly to shaping a world-class talent development strategy and building a high-performing workforce for the future. Responsibilities Graduate Engagement Program: Design and implement a comprehensive graduate engagement program covering onboarding, goal setting, learning and development, mentorship, performance feedback, and social integration. Monitor utilization of graduate recruits, coordinate with managers to. assign them projects or research tasks aligned with their skills and interests, ensuring optimal learning and contribution. Plan and execute rotation programs to expose graduate recruits to diverse work experiences and broaden their skillsets. Guide graduate recruits in setting their first-year goals, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and achieving minimum mandatory goals within the first year. Work with managers to conduct quarterly reviews to track progress, provide feedback, and address any concerns. Learning And Development Collaborate with the Training works committee, GCS L&D team and external partners (as required) to create a tailored training calendar, ensuring relevant topics. Monitor training completion and follow up on further assignments/ tasks completion. Identify and recommend additional learning opportunities to complement individual development plans. Communication And Support Prepare welcome emails with relevant information and resources. Conduct monthly catch-up sessions with graduate recruits to address questions, concerns, and ensure program adherence. Prepare and present a monthly dashboard to the HR committee, highlighting progress, program effectiveness, and areas for improvement. Communicate important information to graduate recruits, including company policies, internal resources, and key contacts. Future Planning Analyze future project requirements for new graduates and collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure a smooth recruitment process. Secure resources for campus engagement activities and update recruitment materials with new initiatives. Other Responsibilities Stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in graduate engagement and talent development. Coordinate for other talent development and employee engagement initiatives. Contribute to the overall talent development strategy and its continuous improvement. Required Qualifications MBA in Human Resources, Talent Management, Organizational Development, or a related field. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Talent Development or HR with a focus on graduate engagement programs. Proven track record of designing, implementing, and evaluating successful talent development initiatives. Experience with goal setting, performance management, and training program development. Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Data-driven approach with strong analytical skills.
