Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an NBFC Assistant Manager located in Chennai. The Assistant Manager is responsible for handling loan applications, underwriting loans, and conducting credit checks. They will work closely with the clients, ensure compliance with regulations, and manage the loan portfolio. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (finance, business, or accounting) Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in an NBFC or Bank Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good verbal and written communication skills Excellent knowledge of financial and accounting principles, procedures, and standards Ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues Good knowledge of computer software. applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidelines for loan processing and underwriting Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure The ideal candidate will be customer-oriented, detail-oriented, and possess strong organizational and time-management skills.
