JOB DESCRIPTION AND QUALIFICATION FOR SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER 1. Familiarity with design of sub-station and industrial power system, relaying and protection systems. 2. Familiarity with design, engineering, and materials for cathodic protection system for steel pipelines. 3. Familiarity with OISD codes/recommended practices and Indian/IEC standards. 4. Lead the electrical design process, taking projects from concept through execution, ensuring optimal functionality and performance. 5. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, translating overall project requirements into detailed electrical designs. 6. Define the scope of work and schedule of rates in clear and concise language/terms. 7. Create and review electrical one-line diagrams, load lists, cable schedules, electrical layout plans and wiring diagrams ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. 8. Review vendor documents to ensure compliance with project requirements and specifications. 9. Conduct. thorough analysis and calculations for electrical equipment sizing to validate and optimize the performance and reliability of electrical systems. 10. Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of creativity, efficiency, and excellence. 11. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating them into our designs to maintain our innovative edge. 12. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to evaluate and select components, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective solutions. 13. Good communication skills: Clear articulation, good pronunciation, good listening skills, correct usage of grammar and syntax, clarity in conveying information in a clear and concise manner, confidence in delivering presentations, writing professional emails, reports, and documents and communicating persuasively to reach agreements
