Job Title: Finance and Accounting Role Division: Accounting & Finance Department: Accounting & Finance Location: Mumbai, India Summary: A finance and accountant position that will provide full-time support to BVPIs Accounting Department. Duties will include, but are not limited to, performing billing functions, AP processing, reviewing employee expenses, financial planning & analysis, budget & project control and entering cash receipts. This position is located in Mumbai, India and would be supporting the Controller and Finance team based in US. Duties and Responsibilities Accounting duties includes but not limiting to Create invoices (services and expenses) and submit to client for payment for all our entities in EMEA/ APAC Review employee expense reimbursements for accuracy and completeness Do an audit of credit card spending for all employees Prepare Accounts Payable Vouchers and Disbursements for vendor invoices. Assist with the month end close process to ensure. all close deadlines are met in a timely manner. Assist with annual audit Analyze customers financial statuses income, liability, expenses etc. Maintaining compliance with all rules and regulations in the financial industry Performing market research to stay current with financial trends Analyze the companys current financial status, going into enough detail to understand their specific needs Support project managers in Tax related issues across different countries Generate MIS reports for BVPI regions Generate other reports and analysis as desired by management Build and work with cross-functional teams Financial planning and control Review project financials and identify risks Review expenditures on project financials and control spending Prepare cost-benefit analysis for projects while identifying areas where cash flow and revenue canbe improved Business planning, forecasting & budgeting Seek methods to enhance overall efficiency and performance Identifying cost-saving opportunities at the organizational level Identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to prevent project delays and help company meet its budgetary and cash flow goals Scheduling and managing timelines Skills and Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Bachelors & Masters degree in Finance or Financial Management or an equivalent degree is required CA professional degree must 4+ years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience in Finance, Accounting, Budget control & Financial planning areas. Extensive experience in financial management, including gathering and analyzing data, organizing reports, and presenting findings to stakeholders Team coordination and working with cross-functional teams. Communication skills Budgeting and forecasting Time management - develop project schedules, identify milestones and deliverables, and ensure that projects are completed on time Knowledge of standard office programs and specialized software related to finance planning & Budget control.
