The MIS Executive for Retail Sales plays a crucial role in managing and analyzing data to
support the retail sales opera,ons. This role involves collec,ng, processing, and presenting
data related to sales performance, customer trends, and operational efficiency. The MIS
Executive contributes to informed decision-making processes by providing accurate and
insighDul reports and analysis.
Key Responsibili,es:
Sales Data Management:
o Collect and compile sales data from various retail channels, including in-store and
online transac,ons.
o Ensure the accuracy and completeness of sales data by reconciling discrepancies.
Sales Performance Analysis:
o Analyze sales data to identify trends, best-selling products, and customer
preferences.
o Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on sales performance for different product
categories and store locations.
Customer Insights:
o Analyze customer data to identify purchasing paKerns, demographics, and
preferences.
o Provide recommendations based on customer insights to enhance the customer
experience.
Opera,onal Efficiency:
o Collaborate with store managers and staff to iden,fy areas for operational
improvement.
o Provide data-driven insights to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.
Repor,ng and Visualiza,on:
o Create visually appealing and easy-to-understand dashboards and reports using
tools like Excel and Bi.
o Present data and analysis to management and stakeholders in a clear and concise
manner.
Data Integrity and Security:
o Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of all data collected and managed.
o Implement measures to protect sensi,ve customer and business informa,on.
Process Automa,on:
o Iden,fy opportunities to automate rou,ne data collec,on and repor,ng processes
to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
o Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to provide data support for
their respec,ve functions.
o Assist in genera,ng insights that drive strategic decisions across departments
