L2,L3 Protocol Testing _ Walk in_ Hyderabad_14th June

Role: L2 & L3 Protocol test Engineer

Experience: 4-8 years

Required Technical Skill Set: L2: VLANs, xSTP, LACP, LLDP, VRRP, Mac learning, ARP, Q in QL3: OSPF, BGP, ISIS QOS

Walk in Date: 14th June 25

Location: TCS- Deccan Park, (Deccan Park, 2S2 Zone)Plot No.1, Hitech City Main Rd, Software Units Layout, HUDA Techno Enclave, Madhapur, Hyderabad, Telangana 500081

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

• Experience in L2 & L3 Protocols testing
• Familiarity with traffic test equipment like ixia and Spirent.
• Ability to understand end to end regression testing work flow at technology area and platform/product level
• Having experience and capability in solving complex issues in testing.
• High quality debugging skills, ascertaining the reason for failure, distinguish between a SW bug or otherwise precisely.
• Test automation frameworks, tools and scripting languages is a must and preferably in Python, Robot framework.
• Strong analytical skills to debug and isolate problems.
• Aptitude to learn new technology quickly and adapt to new feature testing/new assignments faster.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Responsibilities include, test planning, test script execution, defect analysis & tracking, and script fixing and test reports.
• Good exposure in following technologies:

Routing & switching architectures.

L2: VLANs, xSTP, LACP, LLDP, VRRP, Mac learning, ARP, Q in Q

L3: OSPF, BGP, ISIS

QOS

Firewalls & Policer

ECMP & load balancing.

• Familiarity with traffic test equipment like ixia and Spirent.
