More details as below Position Overview: Avensys Consulting - a leading Microsoft Solutions Provider, is on the forefront of delivering cutting-edge data analytics projects. As an Azure Data Engineer at Avensys, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing data solutions on the Microsoft. Azure platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance data analytics projects that meet and exceed client expectations. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement end-to-end data solutions on the Azure platform, utilizing technologies such as ADF, Synapse, and Dataflows. Create and maintain data architectures that meet the needs of clients. Construct and maintain Datawarehouse models to support business units data analytics needs (dimensional data modelling and schema design) Working with cloud technologies, including Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse and other Azure tools. Identify and analyze raw data: sourcing data from existing production systems and/or data warehouse, assessing data quality, perform data cleansing and transformation for downstream processing. Propose and build ingestion pipelines to collect, clean, harmonize, merge, and consolidate data sources in the cloud environment. Build and maintain platforms required for storage, extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources. Develop new technologies and approaches for building a modern data ecosystem. Demonstrate analytics-driven operations through the application of data analytics techniques in decision-making and support tasks. Supporting the automation and optimization of existing ETL pipelines in Azure Data Factory. Redefining the data model exposed to Power BI via Azure Synapse and SQL Server Analysis Services. Troubleshooting data-related issues and implementing effective solutions. Play a pivotal role in all activities pertaining to pre-sales and solutioning of Microsoft Fabric platform. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand data requirements, translating them into scalable and maintainable solutions. Implement best practices in data governance, security, privacy and compliance within Azure environments. Utilize SQL for data querying, manipulation, and optimization tasks. Design and implement Lake houses, Warehouses, and Data marts to support diverse analytical needs. Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure data technologies and trends. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field. 4+ years experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on Microsoft Azure technologies. Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Dataflows. Proficient in SQL for data querying and manipulation. Experience with Lake houses, Data Warehouses, and Data marts. Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration best practices. Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance standards. Excellent problem-solving skills, a passion for tackling complex data challenges and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., DP-200, DP-201, DP-300) would be a plus. Experience with other relevant Azure services and tools.
