Job Summary Solution Consultant, Energy & PA will be required to deliver comprehensive technical consulting & sales support services following the knowledge of industrial communication solutions in active networking, cybersecurity and edge computing and cables to all clients and potential clients in the designated region. They will enable sales teams in solution selling & support them in winning projects with technical influence through. activities like workshops, presentations, conducting demos, proof-of concepts, and interfacing with technical stakeholders at end customers, system integrators, and ecosystem partners. Should collaborate with other functions within and outside the department like Support team, Sales, Product Management, marketing, etc. to align with activities needed to effectively handle business opportunities. Should be creative in terms of identifying new applications, sharing market intelligence, competitor analysis, and approach towards developing new markets. This position will report to the Senior Solution Consultant, PA & Energy You will make an impact in the following way: Visiting customers along with sales, bringing in current market information and customer information back to the sales and consulting team. Handle accounts keeping close coordination with engineering & project teams at key accounts. Influence new end-customer accounts with technical activities like solution presentations, demos, domain-specific concept explanations. Train Belden partners to enable them to handle opportunities independently and keep in regular check on their development/support needs. Coordinating with the Product management team and R&D team directly for product/feature development. Providing product positioning/Product marketing strategy to the sales team. Doing regular technical presentations and product training for customers and the sales team. Providing front-line technical support on quality issues and product improvement. Understand vertical processes and identify new applications that can be suited to solve customer pain points and create value. What you will bring: Education & Experience Total experience of 5 to 8 years with at least 2-4 years of experience with technical hands-on experience on networking, cybersecurity, industrial automation hardware & and software-based solutions. Preferred to be B. Tech in Electronics, Telecommunication Engineering, or diploma. At least 3 years of consulting experience with domain knowledge in Networking, Wireless, MPLS-TP, IP-MPLS, Network Access Control, Firewalls, Edge Computing, Industrial Control Systems (PLC, DCS), IIoT, Remote Access, and VPNs. Preferred to have strong knowledge in at least 3-4 of the mentioned domains. Markets - Must be familiar with the application of Industrial networking concepts, cybersecurity, IT-OT convergence, Industrial protocols, and Industrial Control Systems processes in various Process and Discrete Industry verticals relevant to projects and OEMs. Should be able to adapt to Industry 4.0 trends and identify and customize applications relevant to Belden portfolio.
