Intern, CE Software Engineer @ Micron Software

The Systems and Software Engineer intern in CE (Central Engineering), GEI-SWS (Global Engineering Infrastructure - Software Services)
team will be working with our specialized engineering infrastructure and custom software solutions team for developing the solutions which
will enable accelerating our engineering team s productivity and reduce time to market. GEI SWS team s missions is to Increase Engineering
Productivity and Efficiency through Advanced Engineering Solutions, Custom Software Development and Automation, Data Analytics,
Reporting and Global Support.
GEI SWS provides modern development infrastructure tools to engineering teams throughout Micron. The teams we empower work on next generation memory and storage technology.

As a member of the EngServ Design team, you will have a key role in enabling teams to capture, manage, automate and understand their work. We provide Enterprise-wide support for Atlassian Jira (issue/bug tracking, team planning, work management), Atlassian Confluence (engineering wiki), Atlassian Bitbucket (Git repo hosting and code/branch management), Jama Connect (requirements management), JFrog Artifactory (binary artifact management), Jenkins (build/test/release automation), and other similar tools.

As a member of the EngServ Design team, you will work within a small team of highly experienced engineers to build and configure tool solutions for Micron development teams. You will engage in a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities including custom software development, coaching and advising on the best known methods for using our tools, application administration, training, development of self-help documentation, and change facilitation.

Preferred Skills:
Required courses covering operating systems, programming, electronics, digital design
Data science, AI/ML exposure
Knowledge in any of the programming languages C/C++/Java
Knowledge in scripting languages bash/Python/Perl
Understanding of computer architecture and operating systems.
Linux operating systems knowledge and understanding.

Understanding of CI/CD environment or tools ( i.e Jenkins , Git , Bitbucket etc )
Having previous project experience or coursework in automation, AI/ML solutions.
Excellent communication, analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
Education Requirement & eligibility:
B.Tech/ MTech in Computer Science, Electrical/ Electronics Engineering
CGPA requirements = 7.0 CGPA & Above
