Overview: As the Senior Manager/Associate Director of Finance & Accounts at Gromo, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial health of the organization. You will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations, reporting, analysis, and compliance functions. Your expertise will contribute to Gromo's financial success by ensuring accurate financial reporting, strategic financial planning, and adherence to regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial Planning and Analysis: - Lead the development of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term financial plans in alignment with the company's strategic goals. - Analyze financial data and performance metrics to provide insights, identify trends, and recommend actions to improve financial efficiency and profitability. 2. Financial Reporting: - Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. - Ensure. compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. 3. Management and Leadership: - Lead and manage the finance and accounting team, providing guidance, mentoring, and professional development opportunities. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial accountability and provide financial insights to support decision-making. 4. Budget Planning & Management: - Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed. - Provide ongoing financial analysis to department heads and senior management to support resource allocation and cost control. 5. Internal Controls and Compliance: - Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard the company's assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. - Coordinate and oversee audits, reviews, and compliance activities. 6. Cash Management: - Manage cash flow and liquidity, including forecasting cash needs and optimizing working capital management. - Monitor receivables, payables, and cash disbursements to ensure timely collections and payments. 7. Strategic Financial Initiatives: - Collaborate with executive leadership to evaluate potential investment opportunities, mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic financial decisions. - Provide financial analysis and insights to support business expansion and growth strategies. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree or CA preferred). - Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial capacity. - Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. - Experience in fundraising, treasury, financial compliance, due diligence. - Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis. - Excellent leadership and team management skills. - Advanced knowledge of financial software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel. - Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. - Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and integrity
