Good understanding on the infrastructure monitoring tools, preferably IBM Tivoli suits, Splunk.

Good understanding and experience with Application Performance Monitoring tools

Team player

Excellent communication skills.

Willing to work in Shifts, 24X7

Applicable process connected to Job Role

Standard Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration and Event management processes.

Skill requirements

Degree within Electronic Engineering/Telecommunication Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent

Experience working within multi-sourced IT environment

Industry experience: Event Management and Network Operation Center monitoring, Infrastructure Operation

Years of experience2-3 Years relevant

Certifications: Certification related to Network CCNA) or Monitoring tooling Certification with any of the Monitoring tool will be an added advantage

Role description

GOC Monitoring Analyst is responsible to monitor the health of IT infrastructure operation through technical event management and business application service monitoring within the 24x7 Global Operation Centre operation based in the Geography Hub in India.

GOC Monitoring Analyst is typically assigned to work with service quality surveillance / assurance Level 1 Operations activities. The role is to perform the surveillance activities and ensure that all the technical and service-related events from the monitoring systems get escalated to the relevant function and technical backline teams within the stipulated time period for restoration / resolution.
