Job Description

• Implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, and WLAN networks, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.
• Configure and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers as per RFP
• Monitor network performance, analyse network traffic, and implement optimization techniques to enhance overall system performance.
• Conduct regular network capacity planning to ensure sufficient resources for current and future requirements.
• Implement network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.
• Provide expert-level technical support to resolve complex network issues, both proactively and reactively.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, outages, and performance degradation in a timely and efficient manner.
• Conduct root cause analysis for network-related problems and implement preventive measures to minimize recurrence with the tools provided by customer.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of network configurations, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
• Administer network devices, including user access controls, VLAN configurations, routing protocols, and quality of service (QoS) policies.
• Manage IP addressing, subnetting, and DNS configurations to ensure proper network connectivity.
• Implement network monitoring and management tools to proactively monitor network health, performance, and security.
• Maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, standard operating procedures, and configuration backups as per RFP.
• Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in network engineering.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, security professionals, and application developers, to ensure seamless integration and operation of network infrastructure.
• Should have experience in designing & implementing network solutions for at least 3 large projects.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Should hold valid certification like CCNA / CCNP
