Job Description

LOCATION -GANDHINAGR GUJARAT LOCAL GUJARATI PERSON FIRST PRIORITY Project Management: Lead and manage the entire highway & Road project lifecycle, including planning, design, implementation, and completion. Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards, monitor project progress, anticipate and resolve any issues or risks, and provide regular updates to senior management. Technical Expertise: Utilize a deep understanding of highways & Roads design principles and engineering concepts to produce innovative and cost-effective solutions, Conduct comprehensive feasibility studies and analyse technical data, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design codes and standards. Oversee and review detailed engineering designs, calculations, and specifications, ensuring compliance with local regulations and project requirements, Collaborate with. colleagues and stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Collaboration and Coordination: Foster effective communication, coordination, and collaboration within the highways team and cross-functional departments and lead country project managers. Liaise and coordinate with external stakeholders requirements including clients, contractors, government agencies, and utility companies, to ensure the roadway design delivery is compliant to the smooth project execution, Conduct regular design execution oversee that for construction do ability, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards. Provide guidance and support during the procurement process, including the evaluation of tenders, negotiations, and vendor selection. Quality Assurance and Compliance: Implement and enforce quality control procedures and best practices throughout the design phase to ensure high-quality project delivery. Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with design, safety, and environmental standards, Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to develop and maintain appropriate documentation and records, Carry out risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on construction sites. Qualifications And Skills Bachelors degree in civil engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineer and A masters degree is an advantage. A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in highways Roads project management, preferably with a focus on large-scale projects. You should be able to understand and collaborate with other disciplines on their inputs and combined, capable to perform the Interdisciplinary Review to identify design clashes. You should have clear understanding of Highways & Roads Design deliverables and its execution. In-depth knowledge of highway design principles, codes, standards, and regulations. Proficiency in industry-specific software such as AutoCAD, Micro Station, Civil 3D etc. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to propose innovative and efficient solutions excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects, simultaneously and meet strict deadlines. You will take responsibility for own personal development with the support of line manager and follow an agreed development plan. Other Skills Creative thinker with good design skills. Good interpersonal skills with colleagues and clients. Fluent spoken English Gujarati & Hindi with excellent verbal, written and graphic communication skills. Self-motivated and adaptable, maintaining a confident demeanour when change occurs. Positive attitude with good team working skills and awareness of the well-being of self and others
