What will I be doing The Electronic Repair Technician's primary duty is to test and repair products that have been returned to the manufacturer due to defects or malfunctions. The RMA Technician is responsible. for diagnosing the issue with the returned product, testing it to confirm the problem, and then repairing it to meet Teradek's standards and specifications. Responsibilities Responsible for the evaluation, disassembly, and repair of complex electromechanical products Use static sensitive components, small screws, and hot tools, such as reflow PCB stations, during repair Maintain accurate records of all RMAs, including documenting the repairs and any used parts Continuously monitor and improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs Soldering wires down to 28 awg Identify trends in the type of products that are returned and collaborating with management to address any quality issues Requirements Qualified candidates must have High school diploma, or equivalent Proficient English communication skills (verbal and written) Strong soldering skills with the ability to solder wires down to 28 awg Experience with IC package reflow/replace Highly dexterous with hand tools such as screwdrivers or tweezers Understanding of DC circuitry Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
