Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development: Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that promotes the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of young children.
Instructional Leadership: Provide guidance and support to pre-primary teachers, assisting them in lesson planning, instructional strategies, and classroom management techniques.
Teacher Training: Organize and conduct professional development workshops, training sessions, and mentoring programs to enhance the skills and effectiveness of pre-primary teachers.
Assessment and Evaluation: Oversee the assessment and evaluation of student progress, ensuring that appropriate measures are in place to monitor developmental milestones and learning outcomes.
Parent Communication: Establish and maintain open and effective communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress, addressing concerns, and soliciting feedback and input.
Student Support: Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and support staff to identify and address the individual needs of students, providing interventions and support services as needed.
Safety and Well-being: Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of children in the pre-primary section, implementing and enforcing health and safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Resource Management: Manage resources, materials, and equipment for the pre-primary section, ensuring that they are age-appropriate, well-maintained, and conducive to learning.
Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships with families, community organizations, and other stakeholders, promoting partnerships and collaborations that support the goals and mission of the school.
Professional Development: Stay informed about developments in early childhood education, attending conferences, workshops, and seminars, and engaging in ongoing professional development to enhance knowledge and skills.
