Job Description

Role: Cyber Security Lead As a Cybersecurity Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of cybersecurity within our organization. Your primary duties will include application security, security testing, conducting gap analyses, vulnerability testing, CIAT (Computer Incident and Audit Tool) implementation, and ensuring a comprehensive understanding of security controls across our systems and infrastructure. Mandatory skill: Application Security, Security testing, Vulnerability testing, Understanding security controls, GAP Analysis, CIAT Implementation Key Responsibilities: Application Security: Implement and maintain robust security measures for our applications, including secure coding practices, secure authentication mechanisms, and encryption standards. Security Testing: Conduct regular security assessments and penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses in our systems and applications. GAP Analysis: Perform gap analyses to identify. discrepancies between current security measures and industry best practices or regulatory requirements. Develop strategies to address any identified gaps effectively. Vulnerability Testing: Utilize various tools and techniques to identify and prioritize vulnerabilities across our IT environment. Coordinate with relevant teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities promptly. CIAT Implementation: Lead the implementation and management of CIAT solutions to monitor and respond to security incidents effectively. Develop incident response plans and conduct regular drills to ensure readiness. Understanding Security Controls: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of security controls relevant to our organization, including technical controls, administrative controls, and physical controls. Ensure that security controls are effectively implemented and monitored. Qualification and skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus. Proven experience in cybersecurity roles, with a focus on application security, security testing, and vulnerability management. Strong understanding of security principles, standards, and best practices. Experience with security testing tools such as vulnerability scanners, penetration testing frameworks, and CIAT platforms. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Up-to-date knowledge of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and cybersecurity trends
