Application Production Support Engineer @ Stepup Consultancy

Job Description

Technical Skills: Minimum of 4 years of experience in Application Production Support on Linux platforms. Strong technical troubleshooting skills. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell and automation. Familiarity with ITIL practices including Incident, Change, and Release management. Basic knowledge of Middleware technologies, particularly Apache Tomcat. Experience with application monitoring tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, Grafana, and Prometheus. Proficiency in AutoSys or similar scheduling mechanisms. Experience with DevOps CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Ansible, uDeploy, etc. Familiarity with the Banking domain is preferred. Basic knowledge of databases, particularly Oracle SQL. Understanding of Infrastructure Technologies including Linux, Windows, Middleware, and Databases. Knowledge of DevOps SRE, Automation, and cloud technologies is a plus. Process Skills: Strong understanding of ITSM processes. Preferably, familiarity with SDLC. Serve as. the first point of contact for application incidents. Identify, diagnose, and resolve functional and technical problems. Ensure the delivery of quality services in accordance with agreed service level agreements. Clearly understand the client's business to recommend, provide, and support application services
