Job Description
We are looking for highly skilled Automation Engineers to design, develop, and maintain automation systems for our cloud and infrastructure environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation, excellent problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset to work closely with cross-functional teams. The candidate shall be working on mission critical infrastructure as code assignments.

Designing, developing, and implementing automated systems to increase efficiency and reliability.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand automation requirements and deliver integrated automation solutions.

Programming Infrastructure as Code(IaC) ans Infrastructure Policy as Code(PaC).

Programming deployment of ancillary supporting systems on top of infrastructure using containers, VMs, orchestration, APIs etc.

Installing, configuring, and testing automation systems and infrastructure.

Automating SDLC, release management, patch management, backup of on-prem and cloud based systems.

Troubleshooting automation issues and performing root cause analysis.

Documenting automation processes, specifications, and user manuals.

Providing training and technical support to operations and maintenance teams.
This is an in-depth technical role with complete focus on automating releases, patches, backup and deployment of clouds, virtual clouds, PaaS, SaaS and workloads. This role requires proven experience and the ability to understand cloud architecture, distributed systems, OEM component architecture and API and layer them appropriately with automation. Well be evaluating your candidature on the following criteria:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

At least 3 years of proven experience as an automation engineer or similar role in an ISP or Data Centre setting.

Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Bash.

In-depth and Hands-on knowledge of Terraform or Ansible.

Experience in provisioning cloud-infrastructure with dynamic attributes to tune packages, kernel flags, hardware flags container attributes etc.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
Bonus attributes that will help your application:

Knowledge of CloudStack/Citrix CloudPlatform.

Knowledge of GPU based systems, Nvidia BCM, GPU Virtualisation techniques.

Worked in automating AI/ML workloads.
