Desktop Support Engineer @ Coforge

Job Description

Title : Desktop support role

Location : Ranjangaon

Experience Required: 2-4 years of experience in desktop support, with prior experience supporting a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: - Provide onsite desktop support at the manufacturing plant, including: - Desktops and laptops - Barcode and MRP printers - Handheld barcode scanners, fixed scanners, RF scanners - Support production line IT infrastructure and ensure zero/minimum downtime - Identify and diagnose issues quickly, providing immediate solutions or effective workarounds to prevent production halts - Handle IT incidents, service requests, and changes using ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools - Monitor and manage tickets in line with defined SLAs, escalating where necessary.
