Senior AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer @ SecqureOne

Manage and maintain a complex AWS environment including:

• EC2 instances (scaling, patching, monitoring)
  
• RDS databases (configuration, backups, performance tuning)
  
• VPNs , Transit Gateways , VPC peering , and other networking components
  
• Design, implement, and manage high-availability and disaster recovery strategies
  
• Collaborate with DevOps to automate provisioning, deployments, and scaling via Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK
  
• Optimize cloud resource utilization and costs using AWS Cost Explorer, Trusted Advisor, and Savings Plans
  
• Implement and manage monitoring and alerting systems (eg, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
  
• Ensure security best practices including IAM policy design, encryption, security group configurations, and compliance alignment
  
• Support audits, incident response, and security reviews
  
• Create and maintain infrastructure documentation , runbooks, and diagrams
  
• Mentor junior engineers and promote AWS best practices across the team

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience managing AWS cloud infrastructure at scale
  
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  
• EC2 , RDS , VPC , VPN , Transit Gateways
  
• IAM , CloudWatch , Config , KMS
• Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, etc)
• Familiarity with containerized environments (eg, ECS, EKS, or Docker)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ownership mindset
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
  

CertificationsRequired

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect u2013 Associate or Professional
• (Bonus) AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or DevOps Engineer Professional

Nice to Have

• Experience with multi-account AWS Organizations and Control Tower
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, or Jenkins
• Exposure to security frameworks (eg, CIS benchmarks, NIST, ISO 27001)
  
  Knowledgeof hybrid cloud or on-prem integration with AWS
