CommentSold moved into direct-to-consumer commerce via the acquisition of assets of Popshoplive, a community-driven livestream shopping marketplace app at the intersection of social, e-commerce and entertainment. In 2022, CommentSold debuted its lightweight video commerce plugin technology, Videeo, which gives any retailer or brand the ability to embed and go live with engaging, branded live video commerce experiences within days by easily integrating into an existing e-commerce stack. Our Engineering team stays close to. our customers, building the tools to deliver on our promise to make running their business easier. In this role, you will Work on a wide range of problems within our core web application Focus on solving problems from both the customer-facing and backend perspectives Gain a deep understanding of our product and become involved in driving out product implementation Join a rapidly growing technical team with the opportunity to take on both product and technical problems Guide and mentor junior team members and enable them to deliver on time If youre right for this role, you Have a strong understanding of core computer science principles Have 5+ years professional experience with at least one Frontend web framework (eg. ReactJS , VueJS etc.) Have 5+ years professional experience with at least one backend javascript framework (eg. ExpressJS etc.) Cloud Deployment Experience (AWS Lambda , EC2 , Step Functions etc.) Have Good experience working with Databases (MySQL, DynamoDB - Preferred, etc). Have end to end understanding of architecture, tech stack of the applications you are developing Experience working on a high scale or rapidly growing web application Are comfortable in a fast paced, pragmatic work environment Comfortable working with front end components Experience working in a remote team Are a strong written and verbal communicator; Advanced English language skills Must be able to flex at least 4 working hours to overlap with North American timezones; Requirement to work until 3pm EST (US).
