Job Description

We are seeking a talented and passionate Research and Development Chemist to join our team and contribute to the innovation and development of novel starch chemistries for diverse industrial and food applications. You will play a key role in designing, optimizing, and scaling up starch modification processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring new products to market. Responsibilities: Conduct research on starch modification techniques, including chemical, enzymatic, and physical methods. Design and execute experiments to understand the impact of modifications on starch properties and functionality. Analyze and interpret data from various analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, FTIR, NMR) to characterize modified starches. Develop and optimize processes for scaling up starch modifications from lab to pilot and industrial scale. Collaborate with other industry peers, engineers, and marketing teams to translate research findings into commercially viable products. . Stay updated on the latest advancements in starch chemistry and related fields. Document research findings in detailed reports and presentations. Manage assigned projects and budgets effectively. Contribute to a positive and collaborative research environment. Qualifications: Ph.D. or MSc. in Chemistry from reputed universities. Freshers and experienced candidates in research and development, preferably in starch chemistry or a related field. Strong understanding of starch chemistry, structure-function relationships, and modification techniques. Experience in analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, and NMR. Laboratory skills and experience in designing and conducting experiments. Proficient in data analysis and interpretation. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
