Job Description

This role is part of our advisory services business and involves working directly with global institutional investors such as investment banks, hedge funds and private equity firms. The candidate will be expected to take lead on the projects assigned to them and make sure that the deliverables are provided to client within the stipulated timeframe. Key Responsibilities Work closely with the clients in supporting them through various stages in the life cycle of an investment transaction across various credit and alternative asset classes loan portfolios, financial entities credit analysis. securitisations and other structured credit products, specialty financing and real estate. Pre-deal closure: Work as an extended team of clients on underwriting investments which includes creating financial models from scratch, modelling for different scenarios, running sensitivities, analytics and payment waterfalls. Present the analysis or cashflow models to clients/third parties on calls as well as assist in the preparation of investment summaries and credit memos. Post-deal closure: Create credible, flexible, and fully transparent financial models for monitoring or to provide a valuation on a periodic basis. Provide support for asset management reporting, financial due diligence, post-deal analysis and business planning and any ad-hoc analytics for portfolio monitoring, surveillance, and reporting Required Experience/ Skill Set 2-4 years of experience with a credit rating agency, credit analysis/underwriting function. Experience within Financial Sector will be preferred. MBA with any progress towards CFA Charter. Good understanding of financial statements and various capital structures. High level of proficiency in financial modelling using MS Excel. Ability to work independently as well as help the team to ensure timely project completion. Strong written and verbal communication skills
