Job Description

Responsibilities: Support design leads for structural design assignments; Technical and code review of structural design calculations and construction drawings; Perform analysis and design of structures using ETABS, STAAD Pro etc; Prepare engineering related calculations and develop drawings and visual aids; Work closely with CAD drafters to develop knowledge for the production of construction documents; Apply engineering knowledge to routine engineering tasks under close supervision; Plans & Specification reading; Basic structural analysis and design of projects of all material types (steel, concrete ); Ability to take direction from senior engineers and from drafters; Work under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member. Skills: Knowledge of general engineering principals, statics, dynamics of structures and general engineering design; Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams; Undergraduate students with a. primary concentration in Structural Engineering. Graduate students will also be considered. Interest in learning about a wide variety of projects. Experience with AutoCad software. Ability to work both in the office and on project sites
