Urgently hiring for mechanical design engineer! location- pune Profile-Design Asst. Manager / Manager Location- Pirangut, Pune Ctc- upto 24 Lpa Working Days- 6 Days Area of Operation operates in 3 main verticals - Electronics - Engineering Mechanical Engineering - Bio-Energy We are looking for addition in our Design & Development Team under our Mechanical Engineering vertical. This vertical represents our brand Statfield & Intech a market leader in the field of Surface finishing special purpose equipments & SPMs Powder Painting & Liquid Painting Automatic Plants Material Handling Systems like overhead & ground conveyors of various types Transporter systems Material Storage Systems like vertical Carousels Requirements and skills Postgraduate/Graduate Mechanical Experience minimum 10-15 years in industrial equipment / machinery / SPMs design Experience of design/development in below mentioned areas Structural & sheet metal Fabrication with design. calculations Experience in Conveyor design with chain pull & load calculations as well design experience in other material handling & automated material storage systems. to manage, design, implement, adapt and evaluate tools, machines, products and mechanical components based on structural criteria Proficiency with engineering design programs such as AutoCAD, Solid works, Pro-E. Sound knowledge of design and engineering principles and best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional time management and organizational skills. Communication/interfacing with Electrical & software departments in line to Automation. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Attentive to detail and critically minded. The ability to stay abreast of advancements in technology and engineering design trends. Responsibilities Complete Product Development Cycle Planning execution - monitoring Existing product modifications Product testing at national/international laboratories for quality compliance & confirmations Incorporating new technology in products Interaction with sales team and/or customers for understanding application requirements Customer/site visit for troubleshooting if required Technical documentation, product analysis and testing Facing Quality system audit Leading a team of engineers conduct technical research, use software to plan and design mechanical systems, develop prototypes, and conduct tests on a variety of mechanical machines, such as industrial equipment Meeting with clients and design teams to determine mechanical applications and requirements. Conducting research to inform the design and engineering methods required for the mechanical systems. Planning and executing mechanical designs using CAD, CAM, and 3D CAD programs. Overseeing the development and manufacturing of physical prototypes for testing. Documenting the design process, iterations, and test analytics. Managing project timelines, resources, and budgets. Liaising with clients, designers, engineers, and manufacturers to ensure coherence. Preparing technical reports, design specifications documents, and operational manuals. Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in technology, design trends, and engineering best practices.
