Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry Operator to join our team. The Data Entry Operator will be responsible for accurately inputting data into our systems and maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

  • Enter data from various sources into the computer system accurately and efficiently.
  • Verify data for accuracy and completeness, making necessary corrections or adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
  • Organize and maintain files and records in a systematic manner for easy access and retrieval.
  • Perform regular data quality checks to ensure the integrity of the data.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion and confidentiality.
  • Assist in generating reports, spreadsheets, and other data-related documents as required.
  • Respond promptly to data inquiries and requests for information from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure data consistency and accuracy across different platforms and systems.
  • Follow company policies and procedures regarding data security, privacy, and confidentiality.
  • Adhere to deadlines and prioritize tasks to meet departmental objectives.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all data entry tasks.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience as a data entry operator or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in typing and data entry with speed and accuracy.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working with large volumes of data.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with data entry software and systems (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, database software).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Familiarity with basic office equipment, such as computers, printers, and scanners.
