Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Python Developer with strong experience in SQL databases and RESTful API development. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend services and data pipelines that power our web and mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend components using Python.
- Build and maintain robust RESTful APIs for internal and external services.
- Write complex SQL queries and procedures to handle data processing and reporting needs.
- Optimize database queries for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, data engineers, and product managers to deliver integrated solutions.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
- Implement security and data protection measures in APIs and backend services.
- Participate in system architecture and design discussions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 4+ years of professional experience as a Backend Developer.
- Strong proficiency in Python and related frameworks (such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI).
- Solid experience in working with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).
- Proven experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of database design, indexing, and query optimization.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
