Job Description - Support the seniors in the daily operation and work.
Work according to the menu specifications by the Seniors.
Perform department specific policies, procedures and training requirements as stated in HACCP Manual.
Comply with all Health & Safety and Workplace Safety and insurance legislation.
Participate in regular meetings and briefings as may be scheduled.
Control food stock and food cost in his section.
Understand and abide by all safety rules, emergency procedures and fire prevention regulations.
Prepare the daily mis-en-place and food production in different sections of the main kitchen or satellites
Competent in the method of preparation and the standard recipe for every menu item in his particular kitchen, and follows the procedures at all times.
Follow the instructions and recommendations from the immediate Superiors to complete the daily tasks
Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keep up to date with the new products, recipes and preparation techniques.
Coordinate and participate with other sections of requirements, cleanliness, wastage and cost control.
