Automation Tester @ Kumaran Systems

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for Web and Mobile testing.
• Automate functional and regression test scenarios for UI and backend services using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent.
• Implement mobile automation using Appium, BrowserStack, or similar.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.
• Collaborate with QA leads, developers, and business analysts to define test coverage and quality metrics.
• Analyze test results, debug issues, and report bugs using issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Ensure continuous improvement in test coverage, performance, and maintainability of automation suites.

Technical Skills:

• Automation Tools: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium (any combination)
• Programming Languages: Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript (any one)
• Automation Framework: Preferred: Robot Framework (with SeleniumLibrary, Browser Library, AppiumLibrary, RequestsLibrary) or any other FW TestNG, PyTest
• CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket Pipelines
• Version Control: Git/GitHub/GitLab
• Build Tools: Maven, Gradle, npm/yarn
• Reporting: Allure, ExtentReports, or custom HTML reports
• Knowledge in any Model Based Automation tool like Conformiq, Curiosity is a plus
