Job Description

Department: Project Management and Procurement Purpose / Primary Function: To support with Project Management and Procurement teams with planning of fabrication works in production. Key Accountabilities: Provide design assistance and administrative engineering support for Project Management, Engineering/Design ad Procurement teams. Administer document control of drawings. Downloading of related documents uploaded by Shop Detailers and client including IFA/IFC drawings / Revisions. Manage and store data relating to project drawings in the relevant internal format and drives Creation of all internal folders for accurate storing of fabrication drawings Transmittance of document correspondence Registering, Tracking and Distribution of all related project documents on Excel and Internal software Updating relevant Project management staff of revisions and variations to project documents Identify potential areas of improvement; recommends and assists with. development of appropriate solutions for administration of drawings and document control processes. Assist in the development of new methods to improve product quality and process efficacy and efficiency. Support value engineering opportunities via variations and revisions of drawings. Liaise with project Management team to receive and action fabrication drawings and revisions Support PM team with review of drawings / lotting for production Action printing of barcode stickers for individual project drawings (includes quantity, length, weight, job number, lot number, paint finish) post PM team lotting Investigate, follow up, escalate issues/queries relating to shop drawings in a timely manner Performs other related duties as assigned. Key Experience & Competencies Previous experience working within a construction environment 5-8 years Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings (preferred) Competent in planning, organising and prioritising document workflow and schedules across multiple projects Excellent organisational skills Friendly nature with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
