Role Title: Experience Architect - Manager Location Bengaluru Role Purpose KPMG believes that the employee digital experience is essential to the success of the firm. The successful applicant for this role will be contributing to the firms increasing efforts towards our teams core purpose: (to) Ensure that anticipation of human behaviour leads and improves user experience within the firm. Reporting into the User Experience Principal within the Experiences team, the role of. a KPMG Junior Experience Designer is to ensure that both the internal KPMG Technology function and, where relevant, other Capabilities, deliver an efficient, effective, and consistent employee experience across all touchpoints and at all stages of relevant employee journeys. Our model is to start with the customer experience and progress towards developing solutions with technology SMEs however digital technology is at the heart of the KPMG colleague experience; therefore, an understanding of data and technology solutions is key to Experience success. Key Responsibilities Core knowledge Possess and develop a strong level of practical knowledge in the application of Human-Centred Design (HCD) /User Experience (UX) methods Awareness of other value-driven approaches e.g., Lean Six Sigma, Agile, Design Thinking, etc. And a strong understanding of at least one. Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of KPMGs technology development processes and technical capabilities Core tasks Plan and deliver UX contributions to KPMGs internal initiatives Elicit, collect, track, and analyse feedback and data, and suggest improvements based on the insights gathered Leverage the technical, business and design expertise of experienced, multidisciplinary teams with skills in data science, business management and technology to develop solutions to the gaps identified; and to work closely with these teams in virtual collaboration environments. Help KPMG to focus on generating value through its employee initiatives, with a clear performance and experience focus, ensuring that initiatives rapidly deliver value Interface with Business Analysts to support development of agile user stories and formal requirements Work closely with Digital Accessibility SMEs to ensure we meet our legal and ethical responsibilities for supporting colleagues with disabilities and long-term conditions. Supporting and challenging Project Management SMEs to ensure that digital transformation projects are effectively scoped, managed and delivered on time, to budget and within agreed KPMG risk frameworks Promote the User Experience function in the firm Contribute to the firms User Experience strategy Lead larger UX engagements, including monitoring and allocation of work of junior UX team members. Lead User Experience reviews of existing or proposed solutions Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Essential Strong empathy and listening skills; ability to collaborate with a wide variety of people in KPMG, to put yourself in their shoes, and to understand their needs and motivations as colleagues Proven understanding of Discovery planning and delivery using a wide range of recognised virtual User-Research methods such as 1 to 1 in-depth interviews Ability to contribute to and lead compelling virtual workshops, i.e., to extract and challenge information, and guide participants through unknown territory to identify and resolve UX issues Strong understanding of how to apply recognised methods to plan solutions to business problems in complex multi-stakeholder environments. Experience of using design visualisation & collaboration tools such as Figma, and ability to lead on the strategic use of such tools Strong oral, visual and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and developing leadership skills Desirable Strong understanding of project management concepts, incl. Gantt charts/plans, risks, assumptions, and dependencies, etc. An aptitude for UX technology, data management and analytics, i.e., to read and interpret data and to extract useful information that can be acted upon Strong of digital accessibility requirements and technology Operating within SaaS constraints and low-code environments such as ServiceNow, Power Apps and Appian. Comfortable working with ambiguity at the beginning of projects, with ability to provide clarity of direction despite this. Experience - The candidate must have 10+ years of relevant experience in a similar role
