What Youll Do Cisco IT is looking for a Software Development Engineer who is interested in joining the IT development organization. You will have the opportunity to develop, integrate, test, and deploy highly scalable and robust software. As a Software Engineer at Cisco, you will: Craft and develop private and public cloud software with coordinated automation and monitoring tools Work with Cloud and data center infrastructure teams in an Agile DevOps model Operate within a highly Agile development environment. Who You'll Work With : This is an outstanding opportunity to join a group of highly proficient software engineers passionate about implementing and deploying Cisco's next generation of IT infrastructure and services. Who You Are: We are looking for strong collaborators and self-starters who will take the initiative and require minimal guidance. Communication, both written and verbal, must be excellent, and an ability and desire to work with teams that span the. globe is needed. Flexibility is key and the ability to work from home and work is needed. Minimum requirements: Proven experience (8+ years) Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or IT Proven experience in Design Patterns Data Structures Algorithms Java/Caching PL/SQL Oracle Relational and non-relational databases End user customer/partner or developer community experience Proven experience in identifying, analyzing, and resolving program issues.
