Job Description
About Position:
We are looking for a skilled Apigee Developer to join our team and help us build scalable, secure, and efficient API solutions. As part of a collaborative and fast-paced team, you will contribute to API architecture, development, deployment, and monitoring using the Apigee platform.

What You'll Do:
- Design, develop, and manage APIs using the Apigee Edge/API Management platform.
- Create API proxies, traffic management, security policies, and analytics on Apigee.
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather API requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth 2.0, API Key, and JWT.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance, reliability, and security issues in APIs.
- Collaborate with DevOps and backend teams to enable CI/CD for API deployments.
- Maintain clear and structured documentation for APIs and workflows.
Expertise You'll Bring:
- 4 to 10 years of overall software development experience, with at least 2+ years in Apigee API Management.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in using Apigee Edge, Apigee hybrid (added advantage), and Apigee API Gateway policies.
- Hands-on experience with OAuth, API Key, JSON Web Tokens (JWT), and security protocols.
- Experience with JavaScript, Python, or Java for backend integrations.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS/Azure is a plus).
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
