R&D - MLOps Engineer - Manager @ Varite

Job Description

Overview The role is built to aid the DSA team AI/ML pillar by developing & maintaining advanced intelligence models/tools that deliver growing business needs around digital intelligence applications. The team is looking for key resources that can support on AI/ML tool development in, but not limited to Computer Vision, Natural Language Process and Predictive Analytics, debug, and maintenance Python based web application, while growing the teams capabilities and capacities for the long term. The role requires the candidate to be proficient in advanced AI/ML modeling, particularly in Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing, Azure Cloud infrastructure, Azure DevOps, and Python Programming, Docker. Preferably with Computer Science and Software Engineer background. The candidate should have extensive experience in building and deploying advanced AI/ML model in both development and production environment. Responsibilities Support on ML/Data Ops that are part of Advanced. Analytics (AI/ML) tools, include/but not limited to Azure DevOps Pipeline deployment, debugging application/issues Identify valuable data sources and analyze large amount of information for insights Build reusable Python based tools/application that can be used at scale & evolved as the business progresses to achieve standardization & efficiency. Support on advanced ML projects in Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Predictive Analytics areas, and data annotation. Support on development and deployment of advanced ML models in development and production environment. Support on ML Project Management tracking status, attending project meetings, etc. Create and test functional prototypes to reach the best possible stakeholder experience. Structure the back end for new tools/application to expand data availability Improve tool capabilities by introducing or incorporating the latest offerings from Azure Improve cross-tool stability, scalability, and security using automation and integrating Pepsico prescribed platforms into the automation Essential: Great stakeholder management skills Solution-oriented approach to problem solving Ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities to gain efficiencies and improve process & deliverables Depth and breadth of custom and syndicated research/analytics Complete understanding of internal & external data sources that could contribute to analytics roles to improve model performance Experience leading model development, scaling, and deploying across markets for sustained usage and impact Strong and extensive experience in building production ready Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing models. Strong in MLOps and software development, AI/ML related technical skills Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and excellent written and oral communication skills Connects with cross functional partners in PepsiCo Global R&D to source relevant data and insights Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related science/engineer field (7+ years experience) or Masters Degree in Computer Science or related science/engineer field (5+ years experience) Technical Skills - Experience with Docker and Kubernetes Experience with Software development Ability to development advanced DL modeling, such as, but not limited to Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing Models Ability to debug and deploy advanced AI/ML models in both development and production environment Ability to build MLOps pipelines, and understand tools used by Data scientists Ability to design and implement cloud solutions - Azure Knowledge and experience in MLOps framesworks like Kubeflow and MLFlow Knowledge in Database Management and knowledge of Python, Java, SQL, Spark etc. Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks such as Keras, PyTorch, Tensorflow. Preferably with foundational knowledge in AI/ML Solid analytical and critical thinking skills Strong mathematics and statistics background Project Management Skills Deep understanding of application design, development, support and enhancement lifecycle, managing service levels, metrics and status reporting Familiarity with Agile development methodology and tools Ability to develop and maintain documentation of business processes /system enhancements Very Good Logical reasoning and algorithm / problem solving capabilities Responsible for managing multiple priorities; being able to manage deadlines and deliverables Strong communication and teamwork skills
