Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Java professional who can lead a development team, architect microservices solutions, and deliver scalable, high-quality applications.
Skill Requirements
- Proven experience across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with a strong focus on microservices-based architecture and migration of monolithic systems.
- Expertise in Java/J2EE (ver 1.8+), Spring 3+, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Hibernate 5+, and REST APIs.
- Strong experience in developing and deploying responsive web and mobile applications.
- Proficient in relational databases like MS SQL, MySQL, and Oracle.
- Hands-on with at least one ORM framework: iBatis/MyBatis, Hibernate, or JPA.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and other cloud-native technologies.
- Well-versed in DevOps tools and practices.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Skilled with version control systems such as Git, BitBucket, SVN, or Perforce.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience leading a team of 47 developers.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and ensure timely, quality delivery.
- Implement automation tools and CI/CD processes to improve development efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Samsung stakeholders to define and deliver technical solutions.
- Guide developers to ensure best practices and high code quality.
- Drive Agile development practices to accelerate time-to-market.
- Maintain high standards in development, testing, and documentation.
- Represent the development team in technical discussions, estimating complexity, feasibility, and timelines.
