Job Title: Senior QA Test Engineer Manual & Automation (UFT, SAP)
Location: Bangalore (Hybrid/On-site)
Experience Required: 8+ Years
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Test Engineer with strong proficiency in manual and automated testing, particularly using UFT (Unified Functional Testing). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP applications, test automation frameworks, and test management tools such as Xray, ALM/QC. This role requires a self-motivated professional who can work independently, design robust automation solutions, and contribute effectively in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web, desktop, and SAP applications.
- Design and implement automation frameworks from scratch using UFT.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Work with tools like Xray, HP ALM/QC for test management and defect tracking.
- Validate applications integrated with SAP and S/4 HANA (preferred).
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
- Ensure compliance with ISTQB/industry-standard QA methodologies.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in manual and automated testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with UFT (mandatory).
- Experience with SAP, Web, and Desktop application testing.
- Familiarity with S/4 HANA is a plus.
- Proficient in test management tools such as Xray, HP ALM/QC.
- Experience in framework design and automation strategy.
- Sound understanding of ISTQB and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-driven, organized, and capable of managing priorities independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ISTQB certification.
- Experience in testing enterprise-level ERP systems.
- Exposure to performance or security testing is a bonus.
