Job Description
IRIS SOLUTIONS is looking for Cloud Administrator to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey.- will have expertise in cloud technologies and be responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing management of our cloud infrastructure
- The Cloud Administrator will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our cloud-based systems
- Responsibilities:Cloud Infrastructure Management:Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Configure and maintain virtual servers, storage, and networking components
- Security and Compliance:Implement and monitor security measures to protect cloud-based systems and data
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Performance Optimization:Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud-based applications and services
- Identify and resolve issues related to scalability, reliability, and efficiency
- Automation:Implement automation scripts and tools for provisioning and managing cloud resources
- Streamline repetitive tasks to improve operational efficiency
- Backup and Disaster Recovery:Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans for cloud-based systems
- Conduct regular tests to ensure the effectiveness of recovery procedures
- Collaboration:Collaborate with other IT teams, including development, infrastructure, and security teams
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives
- Cost Management:Monitor and manage cloud resource costs
- Implement cost optimization strategies without compromising performance or security
- Documentation:Create and maintain documentation for cloud architecture, configurations, and procedures
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to team members
- Incident Response:Respond to and resolve cloud-related incidents and outages
- Implement preventive measures to minimize the risk of future incidents
