Job Description
- Work closely with both risk and attribution business lines of GRA to understand user feature requests and convert business features into technical requirements
- Devise business test cases to ensure app development satisfies Acceptance Criteria established in Agile stories
- Rapidly develop Investment Management data landscape expertise to provide support to both risk and attribution squads
- Perform ad-hoc data analyses to troubleshoot data quality issues and liaise with the Data Analytics teams to perform data research and correction if needed
- Possibility to spend 25% of time to function as Scrum Master to support an Agile squad and its Agile ceremonies
- 7 to 10 years of working experience in the asset management business
- Broad and specific understanding of security instruments, including equity, fixed-income, currencies, options, total return swaps, and interest rate swaps
- Broad and specific understanding of risk measures and attribution fundamentals of investment portfolios
- Broad and specific understanding of performance calculations and GIPS reporting
- Strong analytical skills in performing database queries on Snowflake, DB2, or SQL server databases with expert SQL language skills
- Scrum Master training in supporting Agile squad and managing squad ceremonies
- Excellent communication skills that enable the candidate to speak to both business users and developers alike in situation-appropriate languages
- A strong mathematical background or understanding of financial quantitative calculations
- Ability to use Python or other scripting languages to conduct value-added data analyses or construct app prototypes
