About The Position
We are looking for a creative UI Architect to structure and improve website usability. Your duties will include coding websites, maintaining the aesthetics of websites, and ensuring that the websites are user-friendly. You should also analyze the behaviors and patterns of users to improve overall functionality. To be successful as a UI architect, you should be passionate about user satisfaction and be competent in every aspect of building a website. Ultimately, as a high-quality UI architect, you should be an expert in problem-solving and an innovative thinker.
What You?ll Do
- Lead and mentor the team within and across projects
- Architect front-end applications as well as provide guidance on object-oriented JavaScript, AJAX, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, Node.JS and other front-end UI technologies such as Angular.js, Backbone.js, jQuery, Sass, D3.js and delivery best practices
- Manage clients and represent Persistent UI expertise and thought leadership in interactive UI technologies and applications
Expertise You?ll Bring
- Hands-on-experience with object-oriented JavaScript, HTML and CSS
- Good working experience on web service integration (SOAP, REST API etc.)
- Experience on website performance testing and monitoring
- Experience in TDD (Test-Driven Development), writing unit test / integration test for UI components using JavaScript framework such Selenium, Jasmine etc
- Experience with Single Page Application development
- Technical expertise for RFP responses and client workshops
- Context and guidance for implementation of front-end interfaces
- The ability to define and parse valid data interchange structures with back-end services (JSON, XML)
- The skills to maintain delivery quality across projects (code, plan, and estimates)
- The skills to develop standards compliant code according to industry best practices (SEO, Cross Browser, Accessibility (Section 508))
- Excellent knowledge of component design patterns
- Knowledge of responsive web design, content management and content delivery networks such as Akamai
